In January 12, 2020, EAPD organized a workshop on investment opportunities in international trade and transport in African countries in cooperation with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, in which large number of decision-makers in transport and logistics sector, as well as the Port Industries from African countries participated in.

The workshop discussed investment opportunities in International trade and transportation in African countries, it comes as a second step on the same path that started in May 2016, when EAPD and AASTMT cooperated to bring together representatives from African countries in one place to exchange ideas and experiences in the field of port development.
